Makasi

Belgian DJ and producer Makasi crosses genres with energy and instinct. From underground clubs in Antwerp and Amsterdam, his career has taken him to Tomorrowland, TomorrowWorld, Ultra, Miami Music Week, Sunburn, It’s The Ship and Balaton Sound.

He has shared stages with Diplo, Martin Garrix, Black Coffee, Eran Hersh, N.E.R.D., 50 Cent and will.i.am. His sets move from festival-scale house, EDM and bass music to deeper Afro-house sounds.

West African and Latin music heard during his childhood informs his approach. His releases include “Back Home” with Asher Swissa on New State Music, alongside “Dumski”, “King of Kings”, “Dance With Me” and “Lucky”.

Makasi also brings his ISAKAMI concept to cities including Antwerp, London, Bangkok and Bali, and hosts the globally syndicated radio show Supah Sessions.
